Steps to Prepare Before Your Pre-Wedding Photoshoot

For the Bride

Outfits & Accessories

Prepare your chosen outfits and matching accessories to ensure a polished and beautiful concept. Recommended accessories include: sunglasses, handbags, hats, and other items (our team will provide suggestions)

Wedding Lingerie

Choose suitable undergarments for your wedding gown (we will advise you after you finalize your dress).

Heels

Opt for white or beige heels (5–7 cm), with block, wedge, or pointed heels. Ideally, your height in heels should still be slightly shorter than the groom.

Second Pair of Shoes

Sneakers, ballet flats, or any shoes matching your casual outfit.

Contact Lenses (for brides with myopia)

Choose clear lenses or natural shades like brown or black. Regular lenses look more natural than circle lenses.

Skincare

Exfoliate at least 2 days before.

Moisturize and apply sunscreen.

For acne-prone skin, extract blemishes about 1 week prior.

Hair Care

Wash your hair the day before the shoot.

Hair Color Maintenance

Touch up your roots if you have dyed hair.

For the Groom

Shirts

Prepare a white dress shirt with a firm collar and office-style fit. Avoid soft fabrics or collars that are too small (which won’t look good with a tie). You may also bring a black shirt if you like.

Dress Shoes

Choose black or brown (avoid overly pointy toes).

Accessories

Tie or bow tie (you may choose any color; our studio has common designs available).

White sneakers for casual outfits.

Black socks (preferably mid-calf length).

Belt with a simple, plain buckle.

Grooming

Haircut at least 1 week before the shoot.

Trim nose hair and shave the day before.

Extra Tips for Both

Bring some snacks, such as sweet pastries, milk, or light bites to maintain energy during the shoot.

Most important: Get enough sleep the night before, stay relaxed, and keep a good mood to ensure a smooth and enjoyable photoshoot.
